Hi, My 2011 body is approaching the 105K timing belt recommended service. I called my local honda dealer and got this quote: $1160 plus tax to replace the timing belt, water pump, and driving belt. I told them my driving belt was just fine, but they said it was a service pack you must have it replaced.
2. Points. 1. Sep 15, 2009. #10. My car`s (2004 1.2 dualogic/when 114.000km) timing belt is changed by service last april. The cost is approximately 330$. (I live in İstanbul/Turkey) (this cost also include oil,oil filter, air filter and polen filter change) Dealer says timing Belt Replacement Interval is 120.000km or 5 year For each possible repair, the estimated cost of repair includes the cost of the relevant parts and the cost of labor required to make the repair. Engine oil and filter change $20-$60; Camshaft position sensor: $176 to $227; Crankshaft position sensor: $168 to $224; Reluctor ring $200-$600; Timing belt: $309 to $390; Timing chain: $1,624 to $1,879My boy's 2012 Punto has the 1.4 8 valve version of this engine and with 45'000 miles on it we changed the belt, water pump and tensioner earlier this year. It didn't look that bad, but they often don't show any sign of distress and then suddenly - bang!
